Hi Ladies! This is the very first post of our Bismarck Chapter!
IWN launched their Nashville Chapter this weekend! This is particularly exciting to us North Dakotans, because Nashville's Chapter Leader, Michelle Parker, grew up in North Dakota. North Dakota clearly produces spactacular lady leaders. ????
In other chapter news, Sandi Sanford, an inspiring guest speaker at our Bismarck Chapter Launch, and wife of the former Lieutenant Governor, was elected Chair of the NDGOP. Lift Sandi in your prayers as she takes on this new and challenging position of leadership.
I am hopeful God will continue to use our North Dakota Chapter to inspire women who are Biblically grounded, to take on the challenge and responsibility of leadership positions in our children's schools and in our communities. We need principled women to have their voices heard. As Ed Shafer so eloquently stated: "The binding thread of conscience in our country has to be the principles taught in our Bible." ...
(Otherwise) government becomes restictive and oppressive and people are no longer free...
On a closing note - a Psalm:
"Refrain from anger and give up your rage; do not be agitated- it can only bring harm."
Have a great Monday!
