West Virginia Chapter Hosts Leonydus Johnson, Author of Raising Victims: The Pernicious Rise of Critical Race Theory

Our West Virginia Chapter recently hosted Leonydus Johnson, author of Raising Victims: The Pernicious Rise of Critical Race Theory. Raising Victims exposes how public schools are teaching Critical Race Theory (CRT) under the guise of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” initiatives. Johnson explains why this does nothing more than teach a generation of children to view themselves as either victims of systemic racism or members of a wicked oppressor class.

“I wanted to write this book to expose the virus that critical race theory is, how it is infiltrating and spreading throughout our society, and the substantial damage it will do to our children if we allow it to continue.” -Leonydus Johnson

Chapter Leader T-Anne See said, “I personally enjoyed having Leonydus speak, as I have known him for many years and have watched him develop into a much needed voice on the subject of CRT.  There are so many issues that divide us as a country these days, and I believe CRT is one that takes us steps backwards in regards to racism which I find very sad.  It was quite a learning experience for those in attendance to hear what is taking place in many of our schools with CRT being part of many curriculums.  I believe parents and grandparents were inspired to take a closer look at what their children/grandchildren might be getting exposed to.”

The IWN Chapter of Cabell County is a place for independent thinking women to network, discuss important issues impacting them today, and develop ideas and instructions to get them pro-active in their communities and neighborhoods. You can learn more the work this amazing Chapter is doing here!
