Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Kicks Off Independent Women’s Network D.C. Speaker Series
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Chapter of Independent Women’s Network (IWN), the national grassroots community activist arm of Independent Women’s Voice, hosted U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney (NY-22) on Thursday in its inaugural “Cocktails with a Congresswoman,” a speaker series with leading conservative women in government.
Rep. Tenney, a lawyer, small business owner, and military mother, is a leading voice in Congress on standing up for small businesses, veterans, and families in Upstate New York.
“I’m honored to be the first special guest for Independent Women’s Network’s D.C. Chapter. It’s great to see an organization supporting conservative and independent-minded women here in our Nation’s capital. It is a movement that is spreading across the country as more women come together to discuss the issues and drive the national debate,” said Rep. Claudia Tenney.
Rep. Tenney continued, “With Raychel and Kate — both former members of my team — leading this unique and powerful community here in Washington, there is much they can accomplish to drive meaningful outcomes to shape our policies. I look forward to the continued success of IWN as the organization fulfills its mission to empower the next generation of conservative women leaders.”
IWN’s newly-minted D.C. Chapter joins 14 others nationwide and an online membership community of 20,000.
