Protect Women’s Privacy: Urge Your NC Legislator to Vote YES on HB 805 Veto Override
HB 805 simply ensures that the word ‘woman’ means what it always has - protecting privacy, opportunity, and fairness...
Senator Peters failed to send a bill protecting women’s sports to President Trump’s desk. The U.S. House passed the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, one of the first votes taken in Congress, with bipartisan support, but Senator Peters blocked the vote to keep men out of women’s sports, preventing the legislation from passing.
This Act would have strengthened Title IX sex-based protections by explicitly prohibiting males from participating in school athletic programs that are designated for women. It aligns with the 79% of Americans across the country who believe men should not compete in women’s sports.
