On the home page of its streaming app, Xfinity is glorifying and glamorizing “gender-transitioning” with a hyper-sexualized image of two transgender-identifying actors. The app has NO age restrictions.
This portrayal distorts the real experiences of a growing number of detransitioners who underwent medical interventions to try to present as the opposite sex and are now experiencing regret and trauma as they realize the lasting physical damage done by these “treatments.” The lie that anyone can simply switch sexes should not be promoted by activist entertainment companies, especially when following it to its logical conclusion all too often leads to lifelong medical regrets for precisely the people it purports to help.
Pediatric pharmaceutical interventions that activist doctors claim only “pause” puberty are actually irreversible, as are cross-sex hormones. In fact, just a few months of cross-sex hormones can permanently alter a person’s voice and physical appearance, while also causing medical issues up to and including loss of sexual function and infertility. Indeed, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and other medical therapies that ideologically motivated activists are attempting to normalize and promote are selling many vulnerable young women and men a lie and destroying their healthy bodies in the process.
Big business has the responsibility to stop glamorizing “gender-transitioning.” Send a message to Xfinity leadership and urge them to remove this harmful content from their streaming platforms.
