Take Action: Fix Tennessee’s Anti-Woman Licensing Laws
Tennessee’s unnecessary licensing laws are preventing women—especially mothers and those who care for family members—from having the opportunity to work and support their families.
Unlike most other states, Tennessee requires lawyers to work full-time to be admitted to the bar without having to take the test again.
This red tape is simply unfair to working women and unfair to those in Tennessee, since it means fewer lawyers and higher legal costs.
