IWN Fairfax County, VA Chapter Leader Stephanie Lundquist calls out school board for “stacking the deck” to achieve “equity at all costs.”

IWN Fairfax County, VA Chapter Leader Stephanie Lundquist delivered a speech at a school board meeting about proposed changes to the Family Life Education curriculum, also known as gender-combined sex education.

“Your game plan is to stack the deck: the committee, the moderators, the student participants, the survey questions. If that doesn’t work, you proceed the way you want — equity at all costs — and hope that parents don’t notice. Just an FYI, we are noticing.”

The changes were proposed despite the fact that more than 84% of Fairfax County parents surveyed by Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) do not support gender-combined sex education.
