On January 15, 2025 Independent Women’s Network celebrated the launch of its new Virtual Chapter On Protecting Women-Only Spaces. Author and IWN Member Maureen Monte hosts the chapter meetings on the first Tuesday of every month.
During the launch, chapter members from across the nation discussed the safety and privacy of women and girls, ways to protect equal rights and fair competition for female athletes, students, and all women. Special guests included Independent Women’s Forum’s Senior Legal Advisor Beth Parlato and Marking Director Adriana McLamb.
IWN National Chapter Director Christy Narsi made remarks about the launch of IWN’s second virtual chapter. “I am thrilled at the success of the first of many IWN Virtual Chapters! We launched the first one in 2024 and look forward to brining more in 2025. Our 40,000+ network members live all over the country and I can think of no better way to bring their voices, questions and ideas together. The synergy we’ve created has set us up to make a major impact!”
