On Saturday, February 22, 2025 Independent Women’s Network Arizona Chapter Leaders attended the 2025 Gran Gala Dominicana to show their support for Denise Ceballos-Viner, Chapter Leader of IWN’s first Spanish-speaking chapter El Capítulo de Phoenix, and founder of Padres Unidos AZ, a network of parents and community members dedicated to protecting parental rights and keeping neighborhoods safe.
Each year the gala, held in honor of the Dominican Republic’s Independence Day, hosts guests from diverse cultures, including corporate and philanthropic leaders, local, national, and international guests, celebrities and community leaders of the Phoenix and bordering tristate areas.
At the Gala, Padres Unidos, AZ raised money to build a new dance studio for children and teens designed to foster self-expression and boost self-esteem through the art of movement for at-risk children and teens. By addressing the diverse needs of the community, Padres Unidos AZ is creating a foundation for resilience, confidence and a brighter future.
