On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Independent Women’s Network Chapter Leader Stephanie Lundquist-Arora testified before the Fairfax County Public School Board (FCPS). The meeting took place at the auditorium of Luther Jackson Middle School in Fall Church, VA 22042.
In her testimony, Stephanie remarks in part, “The district’s proposed budget is not the product of responsible leadership. Rather, it resembles a child’s wishlist to Santa Claus. Despite a decreasing student population with a four billion dollar price tag–up 300 million dollars from last year, and in the wake of a 300 million dollar county deficit, the proposed budget is remarkably tone deaf.” Â
